An investment that pays off: the Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair

It can be very frustrating when your young child hits the stage where he or she is too big for the highchair but too small for dining chairs. Booster seats do work but they can also be difficult to clean and a bit unstable, especially if you have a counter-height table. While it is a bit of an investment, the Tripp Trapp chair from Stokke bridges this gap and more. Unlike a traditional highchair, the Tripp Trapp is angled to allow children, from infancy through the toddler years, to sidle up to the table and actually eat (comfortably) with the family. And when the highchair years are long gone, the Tripp Trapp is durable enough to serve as a very cool, very modern chair for an adult. First launched in 1972, this impossible-to-improve-upon, ingenious chair is now available in a plethora of modern decorator colors like the ones you see below.
