Faux fur-trimmed outerwear for kids

In case the weather hasn't made it evident yet, it's fall. Those crisp mornings at the bus stop will soon turn downright cold, meaning it's high time to shop for kids' outerwear. Fall's HAUTE nail colors

They always say you can tell how old someone is by their hands. Don't be hiding behind chewed up naked nails this fall season when you could really use them to your style advantage. With fall's hot nail color trends being dark blues and greens, deep rust reds and purples and for those that don't want a bright color even pretty beige, paint them often and keep them looking pretty. Even if you don't do your own nails, grab a bottle or two and take them with you to the nail salon. After all, you don't want to be the one at the PTA meeting with the "old" hands!

You're wearing socks anyway, so pick a truly great pair and let them peek above your favorite pair of boots! The trick is proportion for the perfect amount of slouch. Knee-high boot styles call for over-the-knee socks; ankle boots look best with mid-calf-height boot socks. Once you master that, the sky's the limit. Riding boots, ankle boots, moto boots...go ahead and put a sock in it this season!

Fall trends 2011: ankle wedge boots

Boots are the best accessory of the fall season because they look great on everyone -- especially moms. Boots can make any outfit look pulled together and effortlessly chic without a second thought. That's why this season, I'm loving the ankle wedge boot trend. Much easier to run after tots in than high heels, the ankle wedge boot looks fantastic with jeans and a sweater or a dress and tights. Go for a suede lace-up style in grey to really be on-trend or go for something much more classic like the cowboy-esque pull-on ankle bootie!
