Kids learn to express feelings easily with Ruby's Studio

I can’t tell you how many times a day I’m telling my children to use their words when they’re upset and not their hands for hitting. It’s hard for children to recognize feelings of frustration, sadness and anger on their own. The Mother Company has come out with a series of books and DVDs, Ruby’s Studio The Feelings Show, that teach children how to not only express these feelings in a productive manner but also to recognize what they’re feeling. The DVD features Ruby, played by Kelsey Collins, taking them through animated segments, art activities and original songs. It’s happy, fun and hopefully will prepare them for the big world of emotion we live in…or at least for the start of preschool and kindergarten.
