Sparkle doesn't have to come at a high price this winter. In fact, sequins are so trendy that it's almost better to just add a little than a lot these days. Perk up your dull winter wardrobe of t-shirts and jeans with a pair of sparkly earrings or a simple scarf. But if you're feeling playful go for a pair of sparkle heels and a fun party skirt to really make a style impression this cold, wintery season.

Why wait until the holidays are over to get the best of the post-holiday sales? This year retailers are slashing prices before the holidays and are even throwing in free shipping. So don't wait until you find out that you didn't get what you really wanted this holiday season, take charge and treat yourself to a little pre-holiday style. Because the longer you wait, it also means that they may not have your size or color you want!

Using your own camera and computer, just take a photo of your room of choice, upload it at CapturetheMagic.com, choose and place a Santa figure, then download and print your photograph. Just like there is a top or dress for every occasion, there is also a jacket. There is no way you want to be ringing in the New Year in your old raincoat when you spent a lot of money on the dress underneath it. However, it's probably cold outside and you need something to cover it up with -- that's where a festive party jacket comes in. Pick a jacket that complements your outfit and adds a bit of sparkle or texture with sequins or lace but doesn't cover up and overpower your entire outfit altogether. Now you can ring in 2012 in style without freezing!
