If you're way past the "sexy" costume age or perhaps just want to be a little more appropriate when taking the kids trick-or-treating this year, you're not alone. In fact, I always find it best to take a cue from your kids when it comes to picking a Halloween costume and be something fun and completely out of the ordinary. They'll love having you dress-up along with them and just maybe you can get them to share their candy with you if you pick one of these costumes!

You know how there's always one style that is iconic to the season -- for the fall that would definitely be the wrap dress. A versatile dress that can be worn for work meetings or cocktails, the wrap dress is a timeless style that is classic but stays on the edge of modern. Great paired with boots or heels, the wrap dress is a wardrobe staple that should be in every mom's closet because it works on every body type and looks perfect in any print and color.

During a season in which bright, saturated color dominates, it may seem odd to put much focus upon classic neutral tones. In actuality, though, this is the best time! When choosing pieces to ground or tone down vibrant styles, your first inclination might be to pair the piece with black. But why not branch out? Rich neutrals like camel, beige, tan and caramel can add more interest and dimension to the overall look without the harshness of black. Plus there's a gorgeous neutral for every skin tone, meaning you'll probably be wearing these anything-but-basic colors long after you've retired your jewel tone jeans.

I think my first wrinkle came after high school graduation. I swear, I could see it right by the left side of my mouth but everyone else said they couldn't see it. A smile line. Little did I know that was just the beginning -- there were more things to come that seem all relative now. However, in today's society, beauty and looks are the first impression and are everything. Women obsess about it all...wrinkles, facial hair, acne, ruddy coloring, freckles...and it unfortunately affects our self-esteem and how we carry ourselves.

In fact, I'm not alone in my worries, a recent survey conducted by Kelton Research on behalf of Olay found that nearly 84 percent of women agreed that unwanted facial hair made them feel less confident, leaving them insecure. And of the 6,600 women surveyed, 96 percent of them take great care to eliminate that unwanted facial hair -- removing their hair five times a month. OUCH! Imagine going to get waxed, sugared or threaded five times a month -- that's sure to leave a mark more visible than the facial hair itself.

Facial hair is not one of those things that can be covered up easily with makeup like other facial beauty problems such as acne. In fact, putting foundation and cover-up over facial hair will make it even more visible than not wearing anything at all. There has to be an easier way to get rid of the hair without making a huge deal of it, spending tons of money and without anybody noticing...right?! Thank goodness there is!

Smooth-Finish-Hair-Removal-Duo.jpg The new Olay Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo is a new depilatory that uses a two-step system to effectively remove unwanted facial hair without leaving behind the tell-tale signs of removal such as redness and skin irritation. It has a pre-treatment Skin Guarding Balm that helps prepare the skin for removal with natural ingredients that soften and protect the skin, like soy and cotton seed esters, beeswax and Modified Chinese Wood. Then you follow the pre-treatment with the water-based removal cream. It takes about 5-7 painless minutes to get your confidence back!

I may not ever be able to get rid of the left "smile line" but now I can definitely get rid of the unwanted facial hair and have it be just our little secret...shhh!

Available at amazon.com for $22.47.
